Donna Glapion
In her most recent role, Donna M. Glapion was appointed by the New Orleans City Council to serve as Interim Councilmember-At-Large, from January 2021 to January 2022, filling the seat vacated by former Councilmember-At-Large Jason R. Williams following his election to the office of District Attorney for Orleans Parish.
Councilmember Glapion is a native New Orleanian, educated in New Orleans Public Schools and Louisiana Universities. She’s a graduate of McDonogh #35 Sr. High and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she studied media production, marketing and public relations, earning a B.A. in Mass Communication. She completed post-graduate work in Spanish language studies at the Ibero-American University, Mexico City.

- Create a claims filing system that is easily accessible to the public.
- Provide accessible public information on how the claims filing system works and outline the process of the court.
- Inform the public on what services are available to assist them with their filing process.
Customer Service
- Cultivate a culture of service among staff in the Clerk’s office.
- Make certain all staff understand and value the importance of our work and service to the community.
- Ensure staff is readily available to provide records and information to the public that is necessary for court proceedings
Efficiency
- Execute punctual processing of all cases.
- Create a process for easier claims filing.
- Provide easy access to case records and filing instructions to minimize errors that delay processing.
